VERO BEACH

Vero Beach, is for me, the hidden gem of the Treasure Coast and is a great location to find the perfect home for you and your horses. Most equestrian properties here are from 5 to 20 acres and are located east of I-95. There is a solid community of horse professionals based in Vero Beach year-round, this helps to foster a fun and healthy horse community that does not die off when the winter season is over.

It is only a 90 minute drive to Wellington and a 2.5-hour drive to Ocala, this gives you endless options to show and compete at all levels. Whether you have a hunter, a jumper, run barrels, ride dressage, or even play polo - Vero Beach should be pretty high on your list of horse friendly neighborhoods.

It is fairly common here for people to live by the water and to own a second property where their horses live a little inland (west of US-1 and east of I-95). There are also some excellent boarding facilities in Vero with world class facilities.

Vero Beach Polo Club has a great following and in the Spring it is a cool place to come together and tailgate on a Sunday afternoon. In terms of amenities, Vero has a mall, a growing foodie and craft brewery culture, and the most beautiful beaches on the Treasure Coast.
